These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY NAME] for the use of Bothy. By creating an account you accept them.

WHO CAN USE BOTHY

You must be at least 17 years old and able to enter a contract. Bothy is built for two people in a relationship to use together.

YOUR ACCOUNT

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account. Give us accurate details and keep them current. One person, one account.

PAIRING

Bothy works by connecting your account to one partner. Either of you can disconnect at any time. When a pairing ends, each of you keeps your own answers and messages.

YOUR CONTENT

What you write in Bothy stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to store it, show it to your partner under the rules described in the app, back it up and keep the service running. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

Do not use Bothy to post anything unlawful, to harass or threaten anyone, to impersonate someone, or to upload content you have no right to share. Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

BOTHY IS NOT THERAPY

Bothy offers questions, prompts and short exercises for reflection. It is not counselling, therapy or medical advice, and it is not a crisis service. If you are in danger or in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

Premium is a recurring subscription that covers both partners in a pairing. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your store account settings - we cannot cancel it for you. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Prices may change. We will tell you before a change affects you.

ENDING THIS AGREEMENT

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where required by law.

SERVICE AS-IS

We work to keep Bothy running well, but we provide it as-is and cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

CHANGES

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Bothy means you accept the updated terms.
